Sunscreen is ruining your extensions!

tis’ the season for sunscreen! ☀️ 🌊

Sunscreen is great! My esthetics friends will thank me for saying that! But…. Did you know… Sunscreen can RUIN your extensions?!

Some sunscreens contain Avobenzone, which when comes in contact with your luxurious extensions, can turn them pink or orange!

To prevent this from happening:

1️⃣ purchase a mineral based sunscreen, typically they do not contain Avobenzone.

2️⃣ Avoid your extensions when applying sunscreen ( especially with aerosol sunscreens)

3️⃣ Tie your locks up into a bun and cover with a UV protecting hat

4️⃣ apply a leave in conditioner into your hair before going out into the sun, into the pool or ocean and before applying your SPF
